Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
Michelle Corey Colson, MA, MA, LPCA, D. Min. (cand).
Beach Counseling & Wellness Group of SC
If you’ve found your way to this space, there’s a good chance you’re carrying something quietly—questions you don’t say out loud, patterns you’re tired of repeating, or a sense that life should feel more grounded than it currently does.
This isn’t a blog about quick fixes or surface-level advice. It’s a place for thoughtful reflection, emotional clarity, and meaningful change.
I’m a psychotherapist and Christian counselor, and my work is grounded in the belief that healing happens when insight, compassion, and intentionality come together. In my private practice, I work with individuals who want more than symptom relief—they want understanding, integration, and a life that feels aligned with who they truly are.
Here, I’ll write about the things that often come up in therapy but don’t always make it into everyday conversation:
– emotional overwhelm and burnout
– anxiety, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges
– identity, boundaries, and self-worth
– faith, meaning, and inner life (shared thoughtfully and respectfully)
– and what it actually looks like to slow down and live with intention
Whether you’re currently in therapy, considering it, or simply drawn to deeper self-reflection, this space is meant to meet you where you are.
If something here resonates, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure everything out at once. Sometimes the first step is simply finding words for what you’ve been feeling.
Welcome to the conversation.
This is “where hope begins”.
Warmly,
Michelle
